Dr. Clay Ward
Robert Clayton Ward, M.Div., D.Min. – From Winston County, Mississippi, Clay received his bachelor’s degree in Coaching and Sports Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. Prior to pastoring Tullahoma Bible Church, Clay taught history and coached basketball on the high school and college levels. During such time he served as a Fellowship of Christian Athletes huddle coach, taught various Bible studies and filled pulpits in central Mississippi. Clay received his Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Hermeneutics from Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary in Shreveport and a Doctor of Ministry from Covington Theological Seminary in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA with an emphasis in the Old Testament. Clay has pastored Tullahoma Bible Church in Tullahoma, Tennessee for eighteen years. Clay also trains pastors in Sierra Leone through the ministry of Disciple Makers Multiplied and serves on the board of Chafer Theological Seminary as well as an adjunct professor. The primary goal of Tullahoma Bible Church and Clay’s ministry involves teaching the full counsel of God so that believers are equipped for serving the Lord for God’s glory. Clay and his wife Amy live in Tullahoma, TN and stay busy homeschooling their six children: Andrew (14), Reagan (13), Jonathan (12), Hannah (10), Abigail (9), and Lydia (7).
